SPECIAL NOTE TO ALL CYCLISTS, September 15, 2011 at 11:59 p.m.: THE DEADLINE FOR USING THE CITY’S ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM HAS COME. We are now getting e-mails from would-be registrants that they didn’t get their PIN in time to meet the deadline to register. MCAC volunteer citizen members have decided to hold a WALK-IN registration on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 @ 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. YOU MUST COME IN-PERSON, YOURSELF, as you will have to physically sign the City waiver. This is at the same time and place where we will be providing pre-Tour CHECK-IN for the over 1000 cyclists registered so far. We want everyone on the Tour who wants to come. PRE-PICKUP: You are strongly encouraged to pick up your Registration Package the day before the event i.e. on Saturday, September 17 @ 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Mississauga Celebration Square, at the Glass Pavilion, attached to the Central Library. You will receive your map, bike plate, etc. The brand-new Tour jerseys will be available for sale on the pick-up date, and on the day of the Tour. CASH ONLY PLEASE AND EXACT CHANGE IF POSSIBLE. Yes, someone can pick-up for you if they have your registration receipt.
FREE: This year we are offering a FREE Tour, a FREE BBQ, and SWAG from sponsors.
MINIMUM AGE as of Tour day: 10 years (recommended). All minors 16 years and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
NOTE: ALL RIDERS NEED TO REGISTER SEPARATELY.
CUT-OFF DATE: No online registrations can be accepted after Thursday, September 15, 2011 @ 11:59 p.m.
WAIVER: All registrants must accept the City’s standard participation waiver which is viewable upon registration.
E-MAIL UPDATES: The e-mail address given with each registration will be sent periodic e-mail updates about the Tour event and related cycling events sponsored by MCAC.

20/30km Grant Thornton ‘Family Ride’
This ‘Family-friendly’ ride is growing rapidly in participation. Suitable for children 10 years and over (accompanied by parent or guardian), and a great choice for casual cyclists of all ages who want to ‘get out there’. Not suitable for road-only bikes. It also includes a 20km ‘get back quick’ and an approx. 40km ‘extended’ option. Click here for more details and MAP.
60km Media Resources ’Signature Ride’
The most popular ride on the Tour features all the best off-road trails and on-road cycling routes available in the north-east quadrant of Mississauga — it’s our ‘Signature’ ride. Not suitable for road-only bikes. Has 20km and 40km ‘get back quick’ options. Click here for more details and MAP.
100 km Invesco ‘Challenge Road Ride’
START TIME: 8:00 a.m.
This year’s 2nd annual 100km road-only ‘Challenge’ ride was strongly supported by ‘roadies’ last year after requests were made the previous year! This year will be an all-new route. This route goes beyond the north-east quadrant. It has a ‘get back quick’ option reducing the distance to approx. 70km. Click here for more details and MAP.
