Do you like walking and/or biking, and want to enjoy these activities in Mississauga South? Then plan to attend this Community Workshop on Thursday, March 12, 2009. Hosted by Walk & Bike for Life, an Ontario-based non-profit group with an international perspective, and facilitated by Gil Penalosa, internationally known cycling advocate and urban strategist.
Location: Chartwell Baptist Church, 1880 Lakeshore Road West, Clarkson. Time: 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. FREE ADMISSION. ALL ARE WELCOME!
Whether you live in Clarkson, Port Credit or Lakeview, or simply like to visit these waterfront communities, this workshop is an opportunity to explore the possibilities for making these communities even more walk and bike-friendly. A report containing pictures and the results of the workshop will be published, sent to all participants and posted to this website.
