MCAC is Looking for Volunteers

The Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee (MCAC) is made up of Citizen Members as well as representatives from City Staff. The MCAC in cooperation with the Council of the Corporation of the City of Mississauga is currently seeking citizens interested in serving voluntarily on the following committees for a term of office to November 10, 2010.

MCAC Members are advocates to Council for safe and effective cycling in and around Mississauga. Consider how your talents can help create a cycling friendly city.

A MANDATORY information session will be held at the Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive on Thursday, March 12, 2009 Auditorium Ground Floor at 7:00pm. Application forms will be submitted at this session.

Qualifications

Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen and a resident of Mississauga. Appointment to this Committee is subject to receipt of a satisfactory Criminal Record Search. Only those considered for an interview will be contacted. Employees of the City of Mississauga and Region of Peel will not be considered. For further information please call 905-615-3200 ext. 5425.

Persons who don’t attend the information session won’t be considered for an appointment.
